Three years ago today, was taking this photo for @darius.bocsa and his lovely wife @bbocsa as they were getting ready to receive a life into this world.

Facebook reminded me of this photo today, and I wanted to share it as a reminder that life wins.

I know some countries have passed over their worst covid moments, but others are struggling so this is a prayer and a hope that life will prevail and we’ll soon get back to better times.

Seeing these cables during sunrise this morning, I remembered a conversation I had with my grandmother about 20 years ago, when I was explaining to her how email worked.

The concept of a text message one would type at a keyboard, which then rolls onto an Internet cable and reaches a destination thousands of miles away across the globe, was something she couldn’t possibly fathom.

So let me ask you this: what was something that you had to explain to someone in your family or circle of friends, that was very easy for you to understand, but very difficult for them to grasp?
